In one of their playdates, Khandi and Bryenon rushed to me to report what they saw (so I thought. Hehe.)

Bryenon: Ackroch! Ackroch! (pointing to the gate)
Me: What is it, Brye?
Jenny: Ay cockroach kuno teh. Naa ubos sa gate.

In the corner of my eye, I saw Khandi calling me:

Khandi: Mimi! Mimi!
Me: What man, Khan?
Khandi: Ak-ak! Ak-ak! (pointing to the gate and ran farther covering her eyes.)

Ok-ok jud! LOL! With feelings ra ba unta oi. Hahaha!

********************One weekend while I was busy doing a chore, I noticed Khandi , who was also busy in her own corner. So I asked.

Me: What are you doing, Khan?
Khandi: cook...
Me: What are you cooking?
Khandi: ‘is…’is…
Me: That’s not fish oi. It’s corn! (since she was playing with her plastic corn toy)
Khandi: ‘is…’is…(this time with conviction.)

****************One night, Khandi and I were so excited to use the new crayons and drawing book I brought her. I drew a flower.

Me: Look, Khan. I drew a flower. (pointing at the drawing)
Khandi: ‘wer…’wer...(nodding her head)
Me: Yes. Flo…wer.
Khandi: Mimi…mimi…(points at her work) O-o…’dee (khandi)....

I looked at her drawing and saw a jellybean-like figure.

Me: What’s that again, Khan?
Khandi: O-o…’dee…(points at her drawing)…O-o…’dee …(points at her bum)…

Dah! Sa tanan-tanan, e-ech man jud kuno iyang ma-imagine sa iya drawing oi. LOL!
